Homewood Suites by Hilton Dover

Not cheap, but a very nice large room that is practically a suite. Reasonably well stocked kitchen allowed me to purchase food at the nearby "Market Basket" thus did not need any other food services. Included breakfast was good. Was great for a longish stay (almost 2 weeks), work-related at UNH-Durham. In-hotel coin operated laundry room was also quite useful. Nice quiet area despite being near the expressway. There was limited free wifi with an option to purchase high-speed wifi, which I did not use. But the free wifi turned out to suffice, e.g. for a business meeting on zoom with video in which I participated from the hotel room.

The staff was and is SUPERB!!!! Notably the efforts of Jolene Wood and her colleagues to get me a room on standby. They did but I didn't see the message until after I booked with someone else. Also, Carlon at the front desk was amazing. I look at people in the hospitality industry as caregivers and I was very well taken care of. I appreciate all of their work and the extra miles they were willing to go for my comfort and care. I am grateful.

We checked in after a wedding, we were greeted by a new employee named Tyler, he was very friendly and had a great personality and helped us with everything we needed , made us feel comfortable from the the time we arrived 😊

The front desk was amazing. They were polite and accommodating. The pool and hot tub were great. The actual room was phenomenal; 2 rooms-1 with our beds and one with the living room and kitchen area. It had everything we needed. And the restaurant Margarita’s is literally in your parking lot!

Size of the room. Very comfortable and great kitchen.
